A gender baseline study is being conducted in 12 countries to assess the impact of mining industry development trends and supply chains on women in the industry. This research project was carried out by the Environmental Governance Program in collaboration with the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF), the International Labor Organization (ILO), and the International Women’s Network in Mining (IWiM) in Mongolia.
